Grean is a neighborhood matcha cafe in Seattle’s University District, rooted in Japanese tea, thoughtful hospitality, and a curiosity for flavor. We serve a rotating selection of specialty matcha and hojicha from across Japan, alongside seasonal matcha, original drinks, and light bites.

Our menu is intentionally fluid, shaped by the character of each tea, the seasons, and the flavors we’re excited to explore. While we’re open daily from 9am–2pm, the space remains open beyond cafe hours as it converts over to Elixir—a business we share the space with.

We’re drawn to the details: where a tea comes from, what makes one harvest different from another, how it tastes on its own, and what happens when it meets an unexpected flavor.
